Amici Musicae-Friends of Music, is an amateur choir which arises during the course 1989/1990 at the Municipal School of Music in Zaragoza. Later become Cultural Association and its projection and stability will come from the hand of the Auditorio de Zaragoza. Amici Musicae in September 2002 initiated the creation of the Children's Choir, and in 2004 the Youth Choir, in their zeal to promote and encourage choral singing since childhood, and as a basis and adult choir's own quarry. Throughout these almost twenty years the choir has performed repertoire from Baroque to S. XX, as Handel's Messiah, Mozart's version, The Creation by Haydn, Requiem, Mass in C minor KV 427 Coronation Mass and Mozart's Mass in E flat D950 by Schubert, Brahms Liebeslieder Op 52, Petite Messe Solennelle by Rossini, Beethoven's 9th Symphony, Fauré's Requiem, Symphony of Psalms by Stravinsky, Poulenc's Gloria, Mass of children Rutter, etc. In addition to romantic music programs, opera and operetta.

In his most recent projects we outline their involvement in the Concert of Classical Music for Expo 2008 in Zaragoza, having played the Symphony No. 2 "Resurrection" by Mahler, Bizet's opera Carmen, Orff's Carmina Burana, "the latter Chinese company to dance "Jin Xing" - and Lament for Ignacio Sanchez Mejias M. Ohana. Next November plans to intervene in Mahler's Eighth Symphony, Symphony of a Thousand "next to Pamplona Choral Society and Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg by Valery Gergiev.

The choir develops its basically concerts in Zaragoza, but has also performed in the National Auditorium in Madrid, in the Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore and the Music Palace in Rome. In London: In the church of Our Lady of Dolours Chelsea, "Baluarte Auditorium de Navarra in Pamplona, Auditorio" Victor Villegas "de Murcia, Ciudad de León" de Leon, Teatro Goya in Barcelona Aragonés Center and the Theater Festivals, Music and Dance of Pau (France) and in Torroella de Montgrí (Gerona). Among the conductors who have led the choir in those years include Sir Neville Marriner, Gianandrea Noseda, Miguel Angel Gomez Martinez , Zubin Mehta, Marin Alsop, Juan José Olives, Cristobal Soler, Juan Luis Martinez and Miquel Ortega. He has also sung with soloists like Alfredo Kraus, Ainhoa Arteta, Gaston Rivero, Catherine Wyn-Rogers, Maite Arruabarrena, Augustine Prunell-Friend, Beatriz Gimeno, María Félix, Santiago Sánchez Jericho, Isaac Galan, Sergio Garzia, Eugenia Enguita, M ª Eugenia Boix Raquel Lojendio, Hans-Peter König, Mechthild Bach, etc..

He has collaborated among others with the Cadaqués Orchestra, Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Orquesta de RTVE, Orquesta de Cámara del Auditorio de Zaragoza "Grupo Enigma", Radio Orchestra of Romania, Classical Orchestra de La Laguna (Tenerife), The Musicians of His Highness, Al Ayre Spanish, Philharmonic Orchestra of Valencia and University Symphony Orchestra Conservatory of Music of Aragon.

In addition to the disc recorded on 10 October 1998, accompanying Alfredo Kraus at the recital, which is released on CD by RTVE Música, entitled: "Alfredo Kraus, Last Concert, Homenaje a Miguel Fleta", the Choir has several recordings, highlighting the "Mass in E flat 'D. 950 F. Schubert, and "Pavane" Op 50 and "Cantique de Jean Racine" Op 11 G. Fauré, with the Cadaqués Orchestra under the direction of Sir Neville Marriner. Chief conductor since its founding in 1989 is Andrew Ibiricu. Its assistant directors Pilar Moliner and Javier Garces, Sergio García is his vocal technique teacher, and Juan Carlos Segura is the pianist repeater.
